Compassion Mental Health Services (CMHS) of Pennsylvania is a comprehensive, community- and faith-based private practice located in Lawrence County, PA, that provides a full range of behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. CMHS originated in response to the shortage of mental health services in Lawrence County and western Pennsylvania, as well as to concerns about the proliferation of untreated mental health conditions, the epidemic of opioid addiction and overdose, and increasing suicide rates in our communities. CMHS provides an array of services, ranging from early prevention, crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management, psychotherapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy (TMS).
Fellowship trained in the management of treatment-resistant mood and psychotic disorders, the CMHS team offers extensive experience in state-of-the-art patient care. As experts in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and other neuromodulation therapies, CMHS focuses on restoring function while providing lasting relief from patient-specific disease symptoms through the use of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
